Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Nurse to take on the role of Home intervention Team (HIT) Lead and become part of the well-established CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.

We will consider both a Band 7 role or a Band 6- 7 developmental post, with a clear competency framework and support plan in place to enable you to work towards the Band 7 role.


The HIT offer intensive intervention to young people and their families who are currently receiving support through our core eating disorders team.

The aims are; to prevent admission to inpatient care, facilitate early discharge from inpatient care, support patients with complex co-morbid needs (such as neuro-developmental disorder) and ensure safe and effective monitoring of patients who are deemed high risk due to their physical or psychological needs.

You will work within a diverse MDT alongside external stakeholders such a local paediatric teams and staff.

You will be integral in maintaining and promoting a compassionate, responsive, and enthusiastic team.

The role will consist of many duties, including the clinical and operational supervision of the team, providing clinical oversight and ensuring a high quality and effective service is maintained.

You will be integral in leading on the HIT service development plans and connecting with wider stakeholders.


You will be key in representing the service in key forums and ensuring the reputation of the team and quality of service we provide is upheld.
