Responsibilities:

Greeting and Serving Customers:
- Welcome customers as they enter the cafe.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
- Prepare and serve beverages and food items
- Handle transactions
Maintaining Cleanliness and Organisation:
- Ensure the cafe is clean and tidy at all times.
- Clean tables, countertops, and other surfaces.
- Wash dishes and utensils as needed.
- Restock supplies (e.g., napkins, condiments) as necessary.
- Keep the front counter and display areas neat and appealing.
Customer Relations:
- Engage with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Build rapport with regular customers to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Encourage customer feedback and suggestions.
Assisting with Food Preparation:
- Prepare simple food items such as sandwiches, salads, and pastries.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed.
Adhering to Health and Safety Standards:
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to management.
Team Collaboration:
- Work cooperatively with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the cafe.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and fellow front of house staff.
- Assist colleagues during busy periods or when additional support is needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Barista Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holiday
