It is the responsibility of the Receptionist to ensure the smooth running of a busy reception area and to project a positive and friendly image to our residents, visitors, staff, contractors and other healthcare professionals/medical practitioners who may contact us either in person or via the telephone.


Key responsibilities:


  • To ensure that all visitors and telephone callers are greeted professionally and all enquiries dealt with promptly and effectively.
  • To ensure all telephone calls are managed appropriately, transferring calls and taking messages as required.
  • Deal with resident enquiries efficiently and courteously.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for various departments ensuring all required systems and processes are maintained and updated.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of personal and sensitive data relating to residents, staff and other healthcare professionals.

Hours:

15 hours per week on a four-week rota.

The role will include a mix of 7.5-hour days and half days with a minimum of two full days per month, Monday to Friday.
