We are recruiting for a
Leasehold Advisor to join our team and help us to deliver the best services to our leaseholders.

With well over 10,000 homeowners this makes up nearly 50% of our total housing portfolio.

By issuing over £22m every year for day-to-day service charges and major works charges, you'll play a key role in resolving leaseholder enquiries and disputes in relation to these charges.

You'll need to have a pro-active and investigative approach to resolving enquiries and disputes and be able to provide clear and concise replies.

We're looking for a highly motivated person who's committed to the very highest standards of customer care.

You'll have responsibility for ensuring our service charges are recharged to leaseholders in accordance with their leases which will allow for effective recovery of the charges.


You'll be expected to:

  • Manage a portfolio of stock and proactively resolve enquiries and disputes.
  • Actively work with colleagues and contractors to ensure all amounts recharged are recoverable from leaseholders and freeholders.
  • Actively monitor ongoing repairs to ensure correct recharging.
  • Have strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Have an organised and methodical approach to workload and be meticulous in record keeping.
  • Provide advice and information to leaseholders and colleagues in respect of our leases and charges.

Location
This role is currently based at the new Tower Hamlets Town Hall offices in Whitechapel, London, E1 1BJ

Attendance at the offices is required on a minimum of two days per week. For the remainder of time, this role can be fulfilled from home in accordance with our Agile Working Policy.


Selection Process
