Electricianto join a regional company recognised for developing and training its staff to succeed in their roles based in
Portsmouth. You will join them on a
full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£36,093.20per annum.


Our client is an expanding construction and maintenance company focused on delivering exceptional service to its clients and customers across the south of England.

They employ over 330 staff across the South of England.


About the Electrician role:

This role is based from the Portsmouth office working in the Portsmouth City Council term maintenance contract.
The contract services and maintains over 8,000 social housing homes and 718 council buildings. You will join the maintenance team of over 150staff who have been delivering this contract for over 12 years.


You will be working in all of PCC's property portfolio including, but not limited to, Social Housing, Schools, Public Conveniences, Offices, Heritage and Museums.

Key responsibilities as theElectrician will include:

  • Electrical test and inspection
  • Reactive repairs and fault finding
  • Full domestic electrical rewiring
  • Electrical installation to kitchens and bathrooms
  • Electrical installation of domestic heating system

What our client are looking for in theirElectrician:

  • 17 Edition Wiring Regulation (18th edition preferred)
  • Testing and Inspection 2391 or equivalent
  • An open and positive attitude
  • A team player and able to embrace and work in new ways to improve yourself
  • When dealing with customers, client representatives or peers and team members you will be professional at all times and demonstrate high standards of customer service and care
