Are you an experienced Maintenance Planner looking for your next position? Do you have previous experience within an FMCG environment?

I am looking for Maintenance and Engineering Planners for a client based around the Leyburn area.

Within the role, you will be responsible for organising all planned preventative maintenance and works requests and ensuring the spares and consumables stockare maintained at the correct levels.


Your other duties within the position will consist of the following:

  • Plan and schedule PPM work
  • Issue work to the engineering team. Monitor works requests and liaise with the wider team to prioritise work and issue to engineers
  • Provide support where necessary to ensure that the system is kept up to date and PPMs and WOs are completed on the system
  • Maintain the correct level of consumables and order as required
  • Report weekly and monthly spending and stockholding values
  • Assist the engineering team with administration, contractor control, ensuring RAMS are in place for the work to be undertaken, and the correct permits are issued
  • Assisting with other "small projects" around the facilities

To be considered for the position you must meet some, if not all, of the following criteria:

  • Previous experience planning and scheduling engineering work and contractor control, ideally in an FMCG environment
  • Computer literate and accurate in data compilation
  • A team player with welldeveloped communication skills
  • Able to work in a consistent calm, controlled, positive and effective manner, under own initiative, in a changing environment
  • Experience in managing external relationships with enforcement agencies e.g. HSE, Fire and EA etc
Due to the location of the sites, it is recommended to hold a Full UK Driving License or be able to reliably commute
