Introduction
Lead the IDT support for UK, France, and some French speaking countries in Africa

Your Role and Responsibilities
Review VAT returns prepared by CoE. Supervise tax authority audits/correspondence. Identify areas for process improvement /VAT savings. Provide support and updates to the business on all indirect tax matters including system changes such as ierp implementations. Work with the wider Tax team to support ad-hoc projects.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

3 years post qualification experience in UK VAT compliance and VAT advisory roles
Working knowledge of the EU Directives
Tax or Accounting Qualification
Confident and effective communicator able to work within a diverse European team
Experience of dealing directly with HMRC

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

5 years post qualification experience.
Working knowledge of the French VAT rules
French language skills
Varied VAT Experience in either HMRC, large corporate or an Accounting firm.
