CRFS Ltd are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their Supply Chain team.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Assistant will be part of a team handling parts for world-leading radio spectrum monitoring products.

You will be booking goods in, picking for manufacturing works orders, and maintaining safety and tidiness.

Focusing on ensuring products are where they need to be, when they need to be there, the Warehouse Assistant will have the opportunity to contribute to process and infrastructure improvement in a growing business.

Above all, we're looking for someone who cares as much as we do that our warehouse operates as efficiently as possible, delivering supplies to our manufacturing team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the following, including but not limited to:

• Receiving and putting away deliveries, completing documentation and updating the company system (ERP).
• Inspecting stock to ensure that products meet specifications and standards.
• Optimizing storage space and organizing stock.
• Picking products to fulfil manufacturing bills of materials.
• Using a forklift to move palletized goods.
• Supporting stock takes and resolving stock issues.
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and safe.
• Assisting with other Supply Chain activities as required.

Requirements:

• Be efficient, accurate and consistent in handling goods inwards, completing manufacturing picks and arranging stock replenishment.
• Have attention to detail and a basic understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Be a friendly and hardworking team player with a cando attitude.
• Be comfortable and flexible in working effectively both alone and in a team to meet deadlines.
• Clean driving licence.
• Experience of driving a forklift is an advantage but not essential.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
