In return, as a

Head of Digital Product Responsibilities

  • Develop the digital and data product management practice
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of product owners, helping to deliver the vision of their products
  • Manage the relationship with key business stakeholders, aligning visions and shaping roadmaps to achieve value from the investments in digital technology and data
  • Ensure that product owners work within a common framework
  • Take the lead and embed new practices, principals and tools, moving to a more Agile delivery model
  • Work with external vendors as required to ensure that development work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner
  • Work with Business Analysts and Project Management to develop frameworks and working practices

Head of Digital Product Skills & Requirements

  • People skills and stakeholder management
  • Proven track record of developing digital products, deep understanding of developing "white label" products and services, as well as fully customisable, API based solutions
  • Led organisations with digital and data transformation and change
  • Developed and delivered strategic goals, including making recommendations on resource prioritisation and investment decisions
  • Proven team leadership and development experience within digital and data teams in a technology focussed organisation
  • Commercially minded budgets, profitability and managing costs
