Marketing Assistant (Maternity Cover)


Reporting to:
General Manager


Location:
College Farm, Duloe, St Neots, Cambridgeshire, PE19 5HQ


Contract:
Full Time, Fixed Term (6-12 months), Maternity Cover


Hours:
Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)


Salary:
£23,000 - £25,000 per annum DOE

Key Purpose of the Role
Play a crucial role in supporting the overall marketing efforts of HOF Beauty. Contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns, assist in market research, and help manage various marketing projects.


Key Responsibilities:


Campaign Support:


  • Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.

Content Creation:


  • Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing and engaging content.
  • Support in the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations and promotional materials.

Social Media Management:


  • Monitor and manage social media accounts, including posting content, responding to comments and analysing performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for social media growth.

Digital Marketing

  • Support in the execution of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Update products, prices and content for the website
  • Assist in managing social medial accounts and creating engaging content
  • Monitor and report on website analytics.

Market Research:


  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and potential opportunities for the company.
  • Compile and analyse data to support marketing decisionmaking.

Administrative Support:


  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing meetings, managing calendars, and handling communication with internal and external partners.
  • Maintain marketing databases and assist in data management.
  • Manage marketing mailbox.

Event Coordination:


  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, trade shows, and other marketingrelated activities.
  • Coordinate logistics and handle postevent evaluation.

Collaboration:


  • Work closely with peers in other departments to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Collaborate with other marketing professionals and external agencies to deliver marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with Marketing Manager with adhoc projects and marketing planning.

Person Specification

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience/knowledge in digital marketing
  • Experience in collaborating and building strong relationships with peers
  • Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals in a diverse environment
  • Ability to learn new tasks efficiently and absorb new information
  • Creative thinker with an idea driven approach
  • Output orientated with a drive to deliver targets
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead whilst being able to adjust to changing work priorities
