Description
Evergreen Property is looking for a finance ninja to help with their financial adminisration. Initially, the role would be office-based on Ferry Road but with a view to potentially working sometimes from home.


Evergreen Property manages both short and long let proeprties and the role would be help recoincile the daily transactions, ensure that invoices are paid and up to date, landlords and contractors paid and that tentants pay their rent on time.

The expected work hours would be 4 x 4 hour morning shifts with one day off a week. 16 hours.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and reconcile financial transactions and records within SME Professional and Xero
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports for the director
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements (these will be to contractors, landlords and others)
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for the company, its landlords and contractors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records

Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g.
Xero, Excel)

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • A background in property would be preferred but not essential.
