Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller based in Totton, Southampton. The successful post holder will be working for one the UK's leading distribution companies. This will be a permanent role to start ASAP.

As a Stock controller you will be reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager and will be joining an established and successful team.

This is mainly an office-based role, but there is a need for a hands-on approach when checking stock.

Overview of this Stock Controller role:

Organising and managing stocktakes
Undertaking stock checks and cycle counts reconcile amounts against the system
Customer query resolutions
Liaising with Operational Management on all aspects of inventory management
Assisting implement and run Track & Trace
Using Warehouse Management Systems
Ensuring all staff are adhering to through checking of process
Monday to Friday

- £25,000 per annum

Person Specification:

Previous experience working within stock control / inventory management is ESSENTIAL
Knowledge of MS Excel is ESSENTIAL
Knowledge of warehouse procedures and processes
Good standard of literacy and numeracy
Ability to work in fast pace environment and under pressure
Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System
