Job Purpose
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

As a Warehouse operator at Contact Solar Ltd, you will be responsible for picking of stock ready for dispatch, putting away any stock delivered to us, and making sure the housekeeping is always at a high standard.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities

Making sure all stock is put in the right location.
Responsible for ensuring that all stock picked is correct before loading.
Occasional delivery and collection of goods (within 1 hour of the warehouse)
Ensuring that all materials are stored and handled to prevent damage, or deterioration following the health & safety requirements.
Scanning goods in and out.
Heavy lifting and handball of goods.
Unloading of containers and wagons.
Loading different types of vehicles.
General housekeeping

Essential Requirements

Good understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Works well within a team.
Flexibility to respond positively and reliably to internal and external requests.
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload in a fastpaced environment.
FLT License.
Must have a good level of fitness.

Salary:
Up to £22,500.00 per year
