Description

Reporting Analyst

Warwick - Hybrid (1-2 days in the office)

6 months contract (potential for extension and permanent)

My high-profile utilities client is currently recruiting for a reporting analyst to work on an initial 6-month contract based in Warwick.

They are looking for someone with great stakeholder management skills along with the knowledge and understanding of runningreports from a system - ideally SAP.

This is an exciting, challenging but rewarding time for the client and this role in particular is not a standard Reporting Specialist role.

As a Reporting expert you go beyond the usual things you'd expect from a Reporting Specialist role.

You'll be a systemssavvy You don't only provide annual report but you partner with Finance, HR and Regulatory teams and give advice on the use of their systems and how they can improve what the systems can do for them.

You'll get exposure to a range of different systems. You'll get involved in regulatory reporting, HR reporting processes and you'll enhance your experience in these areas.

I'd say there is a fair a bit of learning but we'd be happy to support you in every stepof your journey with the client.

Of course, we need someone like you who's analytical and really enjoys dealing with data.

You've probably already spotted that using different systems to produce reports and engage with the business is what this job's all about.

You'll be comfortable with technologyand eager to learn new technologies.

There is no harm in reiterating that this is not a typical Reporting Specialist role where you just submit the reports and sit back but it's more of a business partnering role.

You'll have a good interaction with your stakeholders to understand their needs.
Ideally you'll be qualified or part qualified but this is not essential.
The client is building everything from scratch. What that means for you is that you'll be given the license to show off your brilliance.

This truly is an opportunity to come in at the ground floor, in a newly formed company, in a newly formed team which willgrow, in an exciting time given the technology they are looking at, as they include hydrogen in the energy mix, which is going to be huge for the client over the coming years to make the green energy transition to Net Zero a reality.
