An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specifications Technologist to join an established and successful manufacturing organisation based in Malton, North Yorkshire.

Working as part of the Technical team, this is a permanent position offering competitive salary and good benefits

The successful Specifications Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Assist the Technical Services Manager by preparing draft and finished product specifications/pack on the customers chosen specification management system
  • Making sure that a process review is carried out on all specifications and finished product spec
  • To write, update and maintain specifications as well as all relating systems
  • Ensure all packaging is compliant & all recipes, artwork and food labelling is legally compliant and meets customer requirements
  • To be accountable to ensure annual shelf life and nutritional testing is completed
  • Create any labels for products ensuring they are legally compliant as well as satisfactory for the customer
The working hours are ideally Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm. The salary is £33,075 dependent on experience and the business is commutable from Malton, Scarborough, Driffield & surrounding areas.
