Description

We now require a driver that will be responsible for collecting goods and transporting them to clients or customers. Delivering products to locations using designated routes and within set timescales.

Delivery drivers must be courteous and prompt with a commitment to providing customers with a pleasant experience. Prepared to start work from early hours of the morning and on a daily basis.

A successful delivery driver should demonstrate the following:

• Be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items/equipment.
• Communicate with customers by phone to update their estimated time of arrival and discuss any delays.
• Maintain communication with management to be informed of any change of delivery, route, or schedule.
• Excellent time keeping skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Friendly, professional with a team mentality.
• Ability to work with little supervision for the majority of each day.
• Able to demonstrate initiative and solve problems experienced externally.
• Flexible to changes that occur at a moments notice.
• Have good attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 points with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.

Salary:
Up to £31,500.00 per year
