About The Role
Hippo Digital is recruiting for an interim Accounts Assistant / Credit controller to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Accounts Assistant will support our Finance team for a period of 12 months but there may be an opportunity to go perm thereafter.

The role can be home or office based, with the expectation of attending team meetings 1-2 days per month in Leeds or ad-hoc as required.

We are a full-service digital consultancy, and looking for someone who will enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Your role in a nutshell:

Sales Ledger management raising and sending out invoices on Kimble, answering queries and raising credit notes
Credit Control liaising with a number of customers to chase outstanding payments
Payroll input to bank and dealing with general queries alongside the People Ops team
Checking, authorising and raising payments for expense claims
Managing suppliers

We don't need you to have any certificates or qualifications, but we do need to be confident that you can demonstrate the following:

Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
Comfortable working in a small team environment where the expectation is to be involved in a range of tasks
Experience of Xero and Kimble would be advantageous
Excellent organisational skills
Demonstrable ability to prioritise and multitask, with a flexible approach
Focus on attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills and ability to develop effective working relationships
