Job Title:
Gardener and Maintenance Operative


Job Type:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£25,000 - £27,500

Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and care for the gardens, including lawn mowing, weeding, pruning, and planting.
  • Keep the grounds tidy and wellmaintained.
  • Perform various maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, and plumbing repairs.
  • Ensure that all outdoor equipment is in good working order and properly stored.
  • Help with the care of the dogs and cats.
  • Communicate effectively with the property owner to ensure that all tasks are completed to their satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the property owner and their guests.

Requirements:


  • At least 2 years of experience in gardening and handyman work.
  • A full driving license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture and gardening techniques.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in gardening and handyman work.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and stand for long periods.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
