Description

Due to the increase footprint of our site and additional operational hours being worked, we are looking to recruit an additional cleaner to join our current team.

The successful applicant must have previous cleaning experience.

The hours of working will be 05:00am until 13:30pm Monday to Friday.

Due to the location of the site and start time, own transport is essential.

Some of the duties which are shared across the team will be:

Toilets - Cleaning lavatory basins with appropriate cleaner provided. - Cleaning inside and outside surrounds of sinks - Cleaning taps - Refilling toilet dispensers in cubicles - Wiping tiles - Polishing Mirrors - Wiping paintwork - Cleaning and mopping floors with appropriate materials.

Offices - Vacuuming (spot clean where necessary) - Hard Flooring - dust control sweeping, vacuuming or damp mopping - Furniture/desks - damp dusting - Fixtures & fittings -dusting and wiping (incl. skirting, pipes, window ledges) - Bins - emptying daily and damp wiping monthly - Cleaning inside and outside of sinks (lab office). - Doors - remove marks from glass and walls - Cleaning telephones. Touch point cleaning.

Locker rooms - Cleaning and mopping floors - Empty bins Fixtures & fittings - dusting and damp wiping (incl. skirting, tops of locker ledges etc).

Reception area/meeting room - Cleaning and mopping floors - Hovering the carpets - Emptying the bins - Wiping and polish the reception desk - Fixtures & fittings - dusting and damp wiping (incl. skirting, table, window ledges, glass in doors).

Corridors/Stairs - Hard Flooring - dust control sweeping/vacuuming/ damp mopping - Stairs - Mopping - Fixtures & fittings - dusting and damp wipe (incl. skirting, pipes, window ledges, picture frames). - Polish door handles - Doors - remove marks from glass, doors or walls.

Canteens - Empty recycling bins - Remove waste food weekly from the fridge - conduct fridge audits - Empty the dishwasher - Damp wipe the tables/microwaves and all surfaces with disinfectant - Clean and mop the floors

Other duties:
Laundry (wash mops/clothes/towels etc),

Headline skills and experiences:
Previous experience undertaking cleaning work within a production or office environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the cleaning service is required.

Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules in addition to knowledge of the correct use of chemicals would be advantageous.

Having the ability to follow instructions and work to a schedule is paramount.

The job role can be physically demanding working across a number of areas on site, as such a willingness to get involved, hard working with attention to detail is essential.
