Millyard Peoples is partnering with a firm looking to appoint a Corporate Finance Executive into their growing team. The role can be based in either their Edinburgh or Glasgow office and they also offer flexible, hybrid working.
The Corporate Finance team advises on all aspects of corporate finance including M&A, lead advisory, due diligence and fund-raising support.
You will have the opportunity to work with a portfolio of clients ranging from early-stage high-growth businesses to large established companies, lending institutions, private equity funders, and government bodies.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting in the delivery of highquality advice and reports for a range of clients
- Being part of a team delivering full disposal, acquisition, and fundraising engagements from start to finish
- Supporting in the preparation of financial due diligence reports for Partner review
- Preparation of financial models, business plans, valuations, and other business advisory projects
- Developing new business for the team through internal and external networking
- Assisting in the ongoing development of department processes and procedures
- CA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent qualified or part qualified
Not required to have any direct corporate finance experience but have an interest in and aptitude for corporate finance work
- Have excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have an eye for detail
- Be willing to take part in marketing and business development activities and desire to build a network of contacts
- Have excellent technical knowledge and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and CPD
- Demonstrate a flexible attitude to work and be able, and willing, to take ownership of their work
- Be a strong team player and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients
Job Types:

£40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
