£27,900- £36,600


Location:
Cambridge, Hybrid (1-2 days per week in the office)

Contract:
Full time, permanent, 35 hours per week

An opportunity has opened to support our payroll team in ensuring a timely and accurate service to the wider Cambridge University Press & Assessment organisation.

As one of the representatives for the payroll function inside and outside of finance, you will take responsibility for UK and global payrolls, from input to payment.


We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.


About the role

You could also expect to:

  • Complete monthly financial reporting for UK and global payroll
  • Build & maintain relationships with global payroll provider
  • Assist with yearend functions and audit and liaise with the wider finance function to ensure statutory returns are complete

About you


With comprehensive experience and knowledge of UK payroll laws and tax-related filings, you will have experience processing multiple payrolls internationally.

Numbers are a strength of yours, and you will have a strong attention to detail, as well as an advanced knowledge of Excel.


You will have effective communication skills with finance and non-finance staff and be confident addressing and escalating maters to colleagues.

With knowledge of payroll regulations and benefits, you will be confident tackling both new and routine tasks. Experience of using ADP or a similar software package would be desirable.
