We are an SME (Small Medium Enterprise) that are key suppliers to some truly global customers.


We are constantly looking to continually improve our processes and conditions so we can be our customers supplier of choice over the coming years.

We can only achieve this with the support and input of our production team feeding into the site leadership team.


If you think this could be for you, a re-structuring of the existing team has led to the need for an additional member to support our increasing order book.


We machine mild steel components from plasma and flame cut profiles on a range of standard and multi-axis CNC milling and machining centers mainly Fanuc controlled.

Heidenhain experience is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join the night shift team and 'hit the ground running'.

The role would be predominantly setting and operating CNC vertical machining centres and would also include:

  • Performing daily / weekly basic maintenance tasks
  • Problem solving your own and supporting other team members when issues arise.
  • Checking your own work with use of Micrometers, Vernier's, hard gauges and adjusting offsets as required.
  • Experience of operating with Fanuc controls is essential and a requirement for this role.


Components can weigh between 50g and 500kg; crane training will be provided
(applicant should have some previous experience of overhead or Jib crane usage) however this can be a physically demanding role depending on customer requirements.

This is a permanent night shift position

  • 18:00 06:00 Monday Wednesday night,
  • 18:00 23:30 Thursday night (40 hours total).
  • Overtime available
  • Lunch break 30 mins unpaid
  • Free tea & coffee.

Salary:
£14 per hour
(inclusive of night shift premium).
