Description

Metalis are working with a well established engineering company who are well known for their manufacturing of world class precision engineering products.

Duties:


  • Preparing new machinery in workshop prior to dispatch to customer locations for installation.
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs on their range of products.
  • Visiting customer sites to repair, service or install their products.
  • Attending breakdowns and regular service work on their range of products.
  • Qualified in an electrical engineering discipline and a sound mechanical knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a machine tool environment would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Previous experience working within an installation/maintenance/fitting environment.
  • Flexible to meet the demands of the business including stop outs.

The offer:


  • Basic salary of between £35,000 to £40,000 dependant on experience.
