OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part and the beating heart of our small but lively team in a newly created Head of Operations and Strategy role.

We are looking for a values-led, socially-minded, empathetic leader with a proven track record to lead our business development strategy and wider company operations as we look to move to the next stage of growth.

We will be expanding both our internal and associate teams over the next few months, so you will need to have a relationship-focused mindset with outstanding people management skills and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

You will also need to be able to work collaboratively and build lasting relationships with a range of stakeholders and partners to achieve collective goals.

As our Head of Operations and Strategy, your key responsibilities will be as follows:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy
• Leading the company's management of and effective use of its CRM system
• Writing tenders and identifying opportunities for winning contracts with larger organisations.
• Building strategic relationships and partnerships with organisations that could create opportunities for business growth
• Setting and reporting on company growth targets and the measurement of identified KPIs.
• Lead and manage team members and associates to support maximum performance and effective teamwork.

This is a perfect role if you are values-focused and passionate about making a difference in education.

Ideally, you will have had experience working in an SME as you will need to play a central role overseeing every business area to support the smooth running of our services, contracts and programmes.

• Outstanding communication and people management skills
• Strong understanding of effective business practices, processes and systems
• A proven track record of increasing revenue and leading growth
• Experience in tender writing & management
• Experience in project planning and delivery, including monitoring, reporting and evaluation
• Experience in managing data and CRM systems management
• A commitment to personal growth and learning
• SALARY, BENEFITS AND WORKING HOURS
• 9.30 am pm, Four days a week (Monday Thursday)
• Salary £35,000 £40,000 pro rata
• Remote working. Inperson team meetings take place in London approximately once per half term.
• 1:1 Professional coaching will be provided for employees 34 times per year
• Bespoke CPD plan to support the meeting of professional development needs
• Annual paid holiday entitlement of 17 days (including bank holidays)
