Position Overview:


Responsibilities:

Project Assessment: Collaborate with project managers and design teams to thoroughly understand project requirements, specifications, and objectives.

Site Analysis: Conduct on-site visits to assess the scope of work, evaluate existing conditions, and identify potential challenges or opportunities.

Cost Estimation: Utilize industry knowledge and pricing databases to develop comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and other project-related expenses.

Proposal Development: Prepare clear and detailed proposals outlining project costs, timelines, and deliverables for presentation to clients.

Bid Preparation: Participate in the bid process, including the preparation and submission of competitive bids, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Vendor and Subcontractor Negotiation: Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and terms to achieve the most cost-effective solutions.

Budget Management: Work closely with project managers to monitor project budgets, providing ongoing cost analysis and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Landscaping Estimator or in a similar role within the landscaping or construction industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of landscaping materials, construction methods, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

Salary:
£45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
