Description

An established and hugely successful fitted furniture business is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team on either a 4 day per week or 5 day per week basis.

The company is a family-owned and run furniture business made up of an 80-strong team whoare dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and installing the very best wardrobes, studies, living room units and other furniture for their clients.

It is a great time to be joining their business as they expand their presence outside of London to Guildfordand Birmingham in 2023.


This role will act as the marketing lead and brand guardian for the company and their 2 small but growing sister companies.


Core Requirements of the Role:


Strategy:


  • Setting overall strategy for the year ahead and updating it when required based on external factors/marketplace conditions
  • Ensuring briefs are available for required assets such as photography and video to support new interior / furniture styles or releases
  • Understanding, developing, and championing the brand

Digital:


  • Working in partnership with the digital agency (The Strategy Exchange) to deliver everimproving SEO and effective paid Google advertising for company businesses
  • Development of company keyword strategy, working in partnership with TSE
  • Creation and management of all paid Facebook and IG campaigns, Pinterest pins and paid ad campaign creation
  • Website updates (including new styles and dedicated style pages, project showcases, pricing, video) on WordPress and Shopify platforms
  • Ongoing website optimisation in partnership with external digital agency.
  • Ensuring all qualified contacts are added to the eCRM system
- 'Google My Business' showroom creation, updates for holiday periods and ensuring all profiles are current and engaging.


Media management and ad supply:


  • Management of core budget and adhoc opportunities/requirements, working in partnership with media agency partner: ART Media
  • Creation and supply of all print advertising in partnership with the artwork designer

PR management:


  • Management of and partnership with PR agency to develop and delivery of PR strategy and key messaging.
  • Creation of new launch briefs, and development and approval of all press releases

Stationary creative development and production:


  • Furniture Ebrochure, brochure, colour cards, business cards, post cards and leaflets
  • Creation of assets for bank holidays, Christmas, and other seasonal events

Reporting and Enquiry Visibility:


  • Monthly reporting of all relevant metrics especially, website stats, social stats, acquisition drivers, enquiries, downloads and sales figures
  • Regular tracking of enquiries to understand issues as they are happening vs a month later, actioning required changes

_Content Creation and Social:
_


  • Isolate and secure opportunities for Client inhome interior photoshoots by working with the showroom teams and photographer.
  • Furniture / Interiors photo and video shoot management and styling
  • Defining post themes and messaging of company organic posts, selecting images (retouching where required) from available content, and securing client permissions (where relevant)
  • Social platform peer and follower engagement

Other Details:

This is a hybrid role with flexible working hours to be discussed at interview stage.

The company can offer a 4 day week or 5 day week (Monday to Friday) and they are happy for the Marketing Manager to be based from home a couple of days per week.

However,the Marketing Manager is required to be able to visit and spend time at their various London showrooms. The role reports into the Sales Director and will work closely with the showrooms, brand consultant and photographer as well as manage and develop strongrelationships with the external agency partners (digital, Media and PR)

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who has experience working with other interiors or retail companies.
