As my workload grows, I'm seeking a skilled Carpenter/Builder's Assistant to join me in delivering exceptional construction projects to my valued clients.

Position Overview:

I'm looking for a self-employed Carpenter/Builder's Assistant to collaborate closely with me on various construction projects.

As an independent contractor, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with me, assisting in every aspect of the building process.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with me to execute project plans efficiently and effectively.
• Assist in carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and installing wood materials.
• Support with plastering, painting, and other finishing tasks as required.
• Engage in general laboring duties including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization on the job site.
• Assist in caring for and managing tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or a related field is advantageous.
• Proficiency in woodworking techniques and construction methods.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work well in a team environment and on your own.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred.
• Ownership of personal transportation and tools is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a labourer or similar role, demonstrating competence in various construction tasks.
• Proficiency in a range of construction disciplines.
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools, with the ability to operate them safely and effectively.
• Capability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed to specifications.
• Problemsolving skills and attention to detail, capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor, essential for the demands of the construction industry.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients alike.
• Proactive attitude towards work, demonstrating initiative and willingness to take on new challenges to contribute to the success of projects.
