Fox Morris Group are currently working to recruit a
Homelessness Project Workers. This is a
full-time role, on a
4-6 month+ contract.

Shift pattern working hours on a rolling rota, including earlies, lates and 2 weekends worked every 6 weeks.

Rate:
£13.40-£16.00+ per hour (negotiable dependant on experience)


Hours:36 per week

  • An understanding of issues affecting vulnerable homeless people,
  • An understanding and commitment to following Safeguarding.

Role responsibilities

  • Provide nonjudgemental and empathetic communication that recognises and reduces the distress and anxiety that people facing homelessness are likely to experience,
  • Provide highquality support, information and signposting to clients that focuses on their strengths and goals and is delivered in a way that suits them and within a framework of active engagement, positive risk taking and personcentred planning,
  • To carry out comprehensive client assessments, identifying priorities and ongoing need, risk and assets including establishing move on options,
  • To assist people in making successful claims for housing benefit, welfare benefits, EU Settled Status and/or in work benefits as appropriate.

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- homelessness support: 1 year (required)
- safeguarding vulnerable adults: 1 year (required)
