    Description

    Reporting to the Director of Research and Chief Economist, this is an opportunity for a Data Analyst with a background in statistics.

    The Job

    The Research Department is a leading resource of UK industry and economic data that supports evidence-based policy work on members' behalf and demonstrates the significant economic contribution of sector markets.

    • Maintain up-to-date and accurate statistical databases and assist in their development.
    • Provide support to the Director of Research and Chief Economist.

    Candidate Profile

    • Previous experience of data analysis.
    • Previous experience of survey work (desirable, not essential).
    • Previous experience of contributing to research projects.
    • IT experience (MS Office, Advanced Excel Functions including Pivot Tables, R EViews, SPSS).
    • Graduate in Statistics or in a subject with a substantial statistical content.
