Overview:


This position will act as the liaison to third-party control manufacturers through Europe to provide well-integrated solutions to dealers and promote the power of Lutron alliances.

Activities include tradeshows, roadshows, creating excellent technical collateral and delivering outstanding in-person training events both at the Lutron Experience Centre and in the field.


Responsibilities:


  • Answering commercial and hospitality presales technical questions.
  • Join sales calls with specification and channel sales teams to mustwin projects and accounts.
  • Create, plan, and execute training events in EEC and remotely.
  • Closely support commercial engineering teams to create and develop new technical training presentations and curriculums.
  • Provide update and specialty training to Lutron internal teams to upskill the organization.
  • Perform market research and gather market intelligence for product management.
  • Support tradeshows.
  • Design and maintain training demos.
  • Review, maintain and support technical assets of our website.
  • Coordinate with Custom Controls to determine and sell the best solution to customers (hospitality, commercial)
  • Manage relationships with thirdparty control system manufacturers to create worldclass integration on commercial projects including assistance with implementing API integration.
  • The role will require regular travel throughout the UK for circa. 50% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the lighting control industry.
  • Good presentation skills along with technical aptitude.
  • Knowledge and experience with Lutron software tools including Lutron Designer and myProjects.
  • Networking/IT skills including an understanding of TCP/IP networking and network security and encryption technologies such as TLS.
  • Excellent communication skills, both externally with customers and internally with colleagues.
  • Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
  • Possess a full UK driving license.
