If so, there is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the Information Governance team within Public Health Wales NHS Trust.


The Information Governance Team is undergoing a re-structure and an opportunity has arisen for an Information Governance Support Officer who can support all aspects of Data Protection and Freedom of Information compliance.

You will work closely with the Information Governance Managers to ensure that PHW meets its legislative and regulatory obligations, and contribute to the delivery of an effective Information Governance service across the organisation.


The post holder will lead on the process for the release of information to the public under both the Freedom of Information and Data Protection Acts and will also also help us to raise the bar on training and awareness in all areas of Information Governance.

The post holder will also provide specialist administration support for technical aspect of Information Governance, such as the Information Asset Register and the team's Sharepoint library

Public Health Wales is the National Public Health Institute in Wales.
