Tradewind are looking for an engaging, ambitious and positive teacher of Sociology for a planned absence for the summer term.

We are looking for a qualified Sociology teacher, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, to cover maternity leave in an outstanding academy.


The departments consist of a specialist Sociology teacher and a specialist Psychology teacher who work closely as a team, within the humanities faculty.

The department is well provided with teaching resources.

A wide range of teaching and learning strategiesare used in the delivery of history and a range of extracurricular activities are offered.

The school is located in the borough of Islington.

Supported by various buses routes and within walking distance from 2 local tube stations making it easily accessible using public transport.
