Job Overview:
We are seeking a Recycling Worker to join our team. As a Recycling Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping us promote sustainability and reduce waste. Your primary responsibility will be to sort and process recyclable materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge.

Duties:

Sort and separate recyclable materials such as paper, plastic, glass, and metal
Operate recycling machinery and equipment
Ensure materials are properly sorted and prepared for processing
Monitor the quality of recycled materials to meet industry standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with general maintenance and repairs of recycling equipment

Qualifications:

Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis
Basic mechanical knowledge to operate recycling machinery
Attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting of materials
Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing and repetitive tasks
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good communication skills

Note:
This position may require working in outdoor environments and exposure to various weather conditions.

Salary:
£10.50-£15.23 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 45 per week
