Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of schools across Kent who are seeking aspirational university graduates looking for a career in teaching to take part in their in-house teacher training programmes.


What this means for you:


  • Being paid to complete your teacher training

  • Developing experience within your department as a teaching assistant and/or cover supervisor before embarking on your year of teacher training.

Our schools are looking for:


  • Mathematics Graduates
  • Science Graduates
  • Geography Graduates
  • English Graduates
  • Design (Technology) Graduates
  • Language Graduates (combination of French and Spanish preferred)
Each school has a full-time member of staff who leads on initial teacher training.

Senior leaders across schools are super keen to work with prospective graduates who are interested in gaining paid experience in schools.


The role involves:


  • Taking a full and active part in the life of the schools
  • Classroom observations of lessons
  • Mentoring from outstanding and leadingedge practitioners and the completion of a comprehensive CPD programme designed by the schools on an individual basis
  • Leading to classroom teaching across the school with ongoing support throughout the programme

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
