At HFH Healthcare we meet the growing need for complex care by providing specialist nurse-led services to adults and children in their own homes.

Working in partnership with the NHS continuing healthcare teams, our enhanced level of specialist clinical support enables individual clients to remain at home even when the level of health care required is highly complex

Our individualised client care packages are highly specialised, nurse-led, and strongly outcome based.

Working closely with our client's and their families, we fully identify their specific needs and the most effective ways to meet them.

All our care is delivered in clients' homes by skilled and experienced Healthcare Assistants. They undertake an inhouse training programme and are assessed against inhouse competencies.


ROLE PURPOSE


The trainer will be responsible for delivering the Induction Programme to newly recruited carers, this is to ensure a safe transition into their individual roles in HFH Healthcare.

Primarily providing support to Carers, the trainer will assist with organisational mandatory updates and all administrative tasks to ensure the Training Department deliver training and promote the development of all staff in line with organisational goals and values.


JOB SUMMARY

  • Deliver the Health and Social Care induction programme.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all necessary record keeping, such as attendance sheets, evaluations, correspondence and updating of organisational data base.
  • Assist with maintenance of equipment including stock and equipment auditing.
  • Provide support to healthcare staff in the client's home when necessary.
  • Assist Practise Educator with creating new initiatives and materials.
  • Assess care staff performance and learning during lessons and communicate to Practise Educator

Key working relationships

  • Report to the Practise Educator
  • Work closely with the Practise Educator and Recruitment Team to provide support to Nurse Case Managers and Care Coordinators ensuring a high standard of training for care staff, focusing on quality of care and patient safety.
  • Assist with identifying carers who require further development and where applicable provide input in assessing their suitability to provide care to vulnerable adults and children.

Accountability and Organisational Responsibilities

  • Maintain strictest confidentiality and security of information at all times.
  • Act in accordance with organisational and national values.
  • Be aware of their individual responsibilities regarding client experience of care quality and safety.
  • Works collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team including outside stakeholders to uphold HFH values and promote the organisational reputation of delivering excellent care to clients in their own homes.
  • Ensure that all requirements outlined in procedures and policies are personally adhered to.
