Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join our team.
As FCR electrical contractors qualified supervisor, your job responsibilities are to ensure that the results of testing and inspection carried out at FCR electrical contractors are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports.
You will also ensure that the work premises, equipment, documentation and records are available for inspection by the NICEIC/Elecsa or the ECA and any other client of FCR who require such information.
You will report direct to the Managing director and are also required to liaise with the office manager, site supervisors and operatives.
You will also be responsible to ensure all FCR electrical contractors issued test equipment is maintained and tested correctly.You have a duty to ensure you maintain your electrical qualifications to the latest edition of the wiring regulations as well as any team members.
You will also have a responsibility to issue any electrical safety updates to the office manager for issue to the relevant team member.
Responsibilities:
Help maintain FCR day to day compliance of work carried out.

Help maintain FCR electrical contractors testing equipment.

Ensure test equipment has been calibrated and records are available to track and maintain.

Carry out site visits to check on quality of work being produced by site electricians and apprentices.

Report directly to FCR Managing Director.

Attend monthly FCR staff meetings.

Maintain up to date qualifications as required.

Carry out annual compliance visits by Competent person schemes.

Help with onsite training of testing and inspecting for FCR electricians and apprentices.

Help with employee reviews.

Carry out EICR's on domestic and commercial installations.

Help create and maintain company written procedures.

Ensure sites are adequately staffed for the nature of the work being carried out.
Skills:
- Must of undertaken an NICEIC Approved Contractor assessment within the last two years
- Must of worked in a similar role in the past
- Strong technical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft office software and other similar design software
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Must be based near our Thornton-Cleveleys Office or prepared to commute daily, this is an office based role

£40,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
