Description

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and flexible lecturer to deliver Functional Skills English to learners on apprenticeship programmes with varying levels of ability.


You will deliver intensive English classes designed for work-based learners to assess, utilise and effectively build upon their current reading and writing skill base in order to achieve an English qualification appropriate to their apprenticeship framework.

Classes may also include teaching adult learners on GCSE and Functional Skills courses.

You will provide your students with high quality teaching and access to learning.

It is expected that the post holder will contribute to course design, development of programmes and the expansion of the area generally.


At Cambridge Regional College we have a whole organisation approach to maths and English provision based upon our commitment to improve the skills of learners by supporting them to achieve GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications.
