The Team:

Cundall are leading the way in the provision of creative and sustainability focused design solutions for the built environment across the world.

In order to keep up with the demands of business, we are seeking an organised, collaborative, and dedicated Credit Controller to join the Finance team at our Head Office in Newcastle.

The Role:

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join us on a fixed term contract for 9 months to work alongside the wider team following up on outstanding credit across Cundall's offices.

Reporting directly into Cundall's Finance Director, you will work as part of Cundall's centralised finance team, taking responsibility for maintaining a debtors ledger by telephone and letter chasing, dealing with copy invoice requests and invoice queries, chasing payments from a portfolio of clients as well as general duties associated with the requirements of the finance team.

You will be required to ensure that the engineering teams and colleagues are provided with a quality service, high level of responsive and accurate support.

The Skills:

Having gained demonstrable knowledge of working in a finance/account's role, you possess a good level of PC skills including Microsoft Office packages.

You are comfortable with the technical understanding and attention to detail it takes to work effectively in a finance role within a complex organisation.

Experience gained in a professional services organisation would be desirable but not essential.

You are highly organised, take a proactive approach to your work and can work to tight deadlines - making use of your initiative, self-motivation, and effective communication skills.

A background in credit control is essential.
