Immingham Swimming Pool are looking for an Operations Officer to work 40 hours per week to actively manage, develop and motivate a team of operational staff to the highest standard and to ensure the safe day to day running of a Lincs Inspire Limited leisure or sport facility, incorporating a wide range of activities such as swimming pools, sports halls, gyms and fitness studios.

Duties will included:

Ensuring the facility is adequately and safely staffed whilst on duty, that all staff are wearing the company uniform and/or appropriate clothing and that any issues occurring are recorded and reported.
At the start of every shift ensuring that the facility and its equipment is checked and maintained in good working order, in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Safe cash handling, reconciliation and banking of monies in accordance with the company's financial procedures. Daily income will include cash/credit cards, up to £2,500, majority of which is usually cash. The post holder is a key holder for the venue's safe when on duty.

Successful applicants will have experience with:

Operational management of sport, leisure and/or entertainment sector facilities.
Effective staff supervision, cost effective deployment and ongoing development and training.

Salary:
£27,385.00 per year
