Travelling to different clients homes within the community they provide all aspects of care and meet the needs of the client.

Care Assistants Roles & Responsibilities (vary from client to client but are summarised below):

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing and nutrition
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linens
  • Assisting clients with their medication needs
  • Assist in the safe moving and handling of clients
  • Providing when required a shopping service by the service user
