Milk Education are currently recruiting for a Nursery Nurse for a primary school based in Castleford. This is a temporary role that is ongoing until their current member of staff returns to the school. This is ideally to start 6th March 2023. This is a brandnew nursery department, attached onto a lovely primary school, and the ages with 2-3 year olds. This will be Monday-Friday 08:15am - 03:45pm with 30 minute lunch and the pay will be 75 per day.

The Schools Milk Education work with are happy to employ Nursery Nurse's who hold a relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualification (ideally level 3) and at least 6 months experience working in an education setting to work in their school.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with groups of pupils or working with pupils on a 121 basis
Supporting pupils of all abilities to access the Secondary National Curriculum
Uphold a strong classroom presence whilst motivating and inspiring all pupils

Required Skills & Experience:

Previous and recent experience of working in a primary school or Education setting (volunteering roles welcome)
Strong behaviour management with a flexible approach
Enthusiastic, creative and passionate delivery of the National Curriculum
Work independently and as part of a team
Hold a relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualification or at least 6 months experience working in an education setting
Have previous experience within the past last two years
Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
