Description

The Practice Educator role is to enhance the quality of the learning environment by providing the educational input and development and evaluation of activities in support of registered nurses, clinical support workers and other members of the multi-disciplinary team within General Surgery and Vascular (GS&V).

In collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Manager, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Charge Nurses of the various clinical areas within GS & V, co-ordinate and facilitate the educational needs and resources available across the General Surgery, Surgical Day Case and Vascular patient pathways to ensure that patients are cared for to the highest standard.
