SF Recruitment are supporting a leading Manufacturer based in Tamworth in recruiting for a Demand Planner to join the team on a permanent basis.

Salary:
£40,000 p.a. + Pension (matched at 4%) + holiday Life Assurance (x3 Salary) + Health Cash Plan + Car Lease Scheme.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will manage the demand planning process from the sales demand requirements through to the supply delivery.

The Role:

As the Demand Planner, you will support delivery of the consensus demand plan through the functional delivery teams.
Sales & Operation planning for the local review meetings.
Focal point of contact for the collation, manipulation and analysis of the business forecast and strategic plans.
Responsible for creation and management of the weekly production plan in conjunction with the production scheduler.
Support effective inventory management by reviewing minimum, maximum safety and optimum stock levels every month.
Development of Supply Chain and Manufacturing key performance indicators.
Minimise slow moving stock through adherence to stock control, production planning and production introduction procedures and policies.
You will be accountable for the maintenance of effective Dynamics AX data including the item code creation process and to undertake the Dynamics AX key user role for the Supply Chain and Manufacturing function.
Minimum of three years' experience as a Demand Planner / Master Planner within the Manufacturing environment.
Excellent MRP & Data Management Skills.
Excellent Communication & I.T Skills + Excel.
