Description

Masstemps LTD are currently recruiting for a full time, experienced metal polisher to join a busy and expanding manufacturing in the heart of Birmingham.

The role:

Polish and finish metal surfaces using hand tools and power tools
Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications
Remove imperfections, such as scratches or burrs, from metal surfaces
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Previous experience in polishing or related field preferred
Knowledge of tooling and mechanical processes
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for polishing and finishing tasks
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.

Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 6am-4:15pm

Rate of pay:
£16.00 per hour with over time available at 1.5 rate.
