This is an exciting time for Dunstable and District Citizens Advice as we have set up our own Wellbeing Coach service from scratch to be delivered across Chiltern Hills Primary Care Network.

We are looking for an individual who is driven and passionate about making a positive impact on peoples' lives.

As a Wellbeing Coach you will help people develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage their own wellbeing. A wellbeing coach will use motivational interviewing to empower people to make positive lifestyle changes. The role will take a holistic approach that helps increase people's ability to access community support. The Wellbeing Coach will work alongside the Social Prescribing team to provide a joined-up approach and maximise client experience.

The role will support the Primary Care Network within Dunstable and Caddington and work closely with GP surgeries.

The role will also require you to provide advice to support any social issues that may be impacting on a clients mental health.

You will support people to increase their ability to self-manage, motivation levels and commitment to change their lifestyle.


The wellbeing coach can be an effective intervention for people experiencing a range of issues that could cause stress/low mood.

The wellbeing coach will be an excellent communicator, passionate about the role and dedicated to reducing health inequalities in the local area by supporting them with social issues.
