Barribal Associates has a long and established working relationship with a boutique UK Private Equity House.

An exciting opportunity has presented itself within one of the portfolio companies for a career focussed and ambitious Finance Transformation Expertto join the organisation, based out of the headquarters in Malmo, Sweden.


The company is a full-service provider of digital, high-tech signage solutions for the retail sector, as well as corporate communication and public spaces.

Headquartered in Sweden with 10 locations throughout Europe + the USA, the organisation has c200 employeesand manages 80,000 installations in more than 50 markets.

The strategic plan forecasts significant growth, both organically and through acquisitions.


This newly created position will report directly into the Group CFO (based in Sweden) and will see you take full responsibility for the transformation project to improve finance processes, systems, reporting, compliance and teams, allowing the finance functionto perform and report in an effective, efficient manner and achieve best in class performance.

Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

  • Working closely with the CFO, the country Finance Managers and also the private Equity owners in the UK, you will drive a continuous improvement methodology across the finance function.
  • Standardisation and documentation of process and procedure will enable you to develop a platform of sound controls, compliance and capability that will enable efficient and effective reporting across the Group.
  • The Roll-Out of NetSuite has already begun and you will take a pivotal role in continuing that implementation whilst ensuring a "fit for now/fit for the future" capability is delivered.
  • Significant acquisitive growth is expected and you will take a key position in the development of an effective integration programme.
  • Some European travel is undoubtedly going to be necessary, and perhaps occasional US trips, but all travel requirements will be at your discretion and scheduling.


Applicants will be fully qualified with a proven track record of delivery within this type of position, ideally within a multi-currency and multi-geography organisation.

Working within SME businesses and having a SAAS/tech background would be desirable andexperience of NetSuite would be advantageous, but not essential.

Excellent spoken and written Swedish and English is a pre-requisite.
