The shift pattern for this post is Mon - Fri

An audio typist is required to help provide a comprehensive typing service to Medical Consultants and Junior staff within a busy department as well as supporting the secretarial team.

Occasional assistance in other admin roles may be required within the service.
The role of the job is challenging and a high degree of accuracy is required at all times. You will be required to
- use your own initiative and competency whilst exercising a high degree
- of confidentiality.
- be responsible for scheduling your own workload to ensure typing is
- done within turnaround targets.
- be responsible for producing accurate outcome sheets for the relevant
- secretaries to act on which will include being proactive in understanding
- how to pull such data from dictation.
- resolve problems including incorrect or unclear dictation.
