Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for teaching to join the Clinical Education Team within NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital.

The post holder will be promoting an environment that encourages learning, teaching and the development of all staff, including those undergoing training.

The post holder will be based in our Ophthalmology pre-assessment and theatre areas but also working alongside the wider hospital Clinical Education Team.

They will work clinically alongside nursing staff to develop their knowledge and skills in ophthalmology nursing care.

You will be a Registered Nurse educated to degree level in nursing or healthcare (or equivalent). You will have excellent communication and organisational skills.

You will have evidence of extensive career progression in Ophthalmology nursing, have active Practice Assessor status and evidence of informal local teaching within clinical environment.
