African Movie Channel is a fast-paced organisation, and the Digital Marketing and Channels Assistant will be required to support the Head Of Channels and Social Media Manager in the day-to-day running of our social media channels and TV channels respectively, while managing content and daily needs of the business.


Job specifications/responsibilities

  • Assist with the daytoday management of all social media channels including, scheduling engaging content in Sendible app.
  • Assist in the creation of press releases, relevant blog posts and social media campaigns.
  • Use Search Engine Optimization to broaden our YouTube audience and increase revenue stream.
  • Creating and managing relationships with AMC's media partners to increase brand awareness.
  • Acting as the primary daytoday contact for channels' administration, including content acquisitions and sales, and quality analysis of acquired content.
  • Assist in creating monthly highlights for our two 24hour Pay TV channels, and our exciting and rapidly growing FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) Channel.
  • Scheduling and maintaining of promotions, commercials, and other interstitial items.
  • Maintaining and updating AMC official documents, including creating presentation decks for marketing AMC productions
  • Working closely with editors to ensure company quality compliance of broadcast content.

  • Good admin background and strong administration skills
  • Willing to learn new technology and systems
  • Strong understanding of marketing
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and copywriting skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Word & Excel ability
  • Structured, creativelyminded with a keen eye for accuracy & methodical mindset
  • Effective time management and organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Proactive approach and enthusiastic team player
  • Londonbased
