Credit Controller

Darlington

Salary up to £28,000

Responsibilities

Managing the collection and processing of customer payments ensuring open balances are accurate and up to date.
Minimising overdue, nonpayments and the risk of bad debt so that the business cash flow performance is maximised.
Reconciliation of the trade debtor ledger on a monthly basis.
Preparation of weekly targets for inclusion in the cash flow forecast.

Experience required

Experience in debt recovery, or a similar role within the financial sector.
Proficiency in negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards within the finance industry.
